About
Jennifer Farlin
Jennifer has been an interior stylist for 16 years working in real estate staging, residential design and vacation properties. Technically, her design career started 40 years ago with her Barbie townhouse being her first big project-redone 167 times. During her 20 years moving households as a military spouse, she became quite good at staging houses for sale and designing on a budget. Jennifer started Bella Home Staging with two other military spouses which focused on staging for sale in the military dense area of Virginia Beach. Several moves later she is settled in the DC area where her business has evolved into Bella Home Styling, a mix of all things design.
Jennifer is also a True Color Expert, under Maria Killam, the founder and creative director of The Killam Color System. Jennifer can explain why your paint colors aren’t working, your kitchen counter clashes with your backsplash and how to avoid a poorly designed house BEFORE you start a costly renovation.
Jennifer Farlin was “imported from Detroit” and lives outside Washington DC with her teen boys and husband. She was honored to decorate the White House for Christmas in 2014.
Jennifer believes a sense of humor and coffee are the best accessories to anyone’s style.
